Porter Elementary Teaching Residency

Digital Video (Filmmaking) has become more accessible, allowing us to bring the basic process of filmmaking into the classroom. These amazing kids were exposed to screenplay writing, adaption from a novel, cinematography, editing, stop-motion, directing, storyboarding, audio recording, and more...

This process enables them to learn a new skill / art, collaborate in a group through project based learning, the ability to think creatively, constructively, and artistically, which simultaneously subconsciously enables them to utilizes every part of their brain!
